We had a fantastic weekend break at the beginning of November 2010. The accommodation was five star and it felt very luxurious. The best bit was definitely the hot tub!! I would reccommend it to anyone wanting a romantic setting for a break away. Miss H, BRISTOL, Avon 17 November 2010
A fantastic cottage and I would give it a 5 star rating. A great hot tub, great living room/kitchen, a comfy bed and very friendly hosts - thank you! Mr T, Taunton, Somerset 05 November 2010
Delightful rural setting - peaceful, and charming, with stylish fittings and a truly warm welcome! It is nigh on impossible to say anything negative about the Warrage...we could recommend a stay here to anybody! Mr T, Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire 18 October 2010
I would definitely recommend my friends to book this holiday, it is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway from it all break. Mrs G, Bedford, Bedfordshire 13 October 2010
The owners gave us such a warm welcome on arrival, even arriving fairly late as we did. The Old Stable at The Warrage was a stunning conversion, and very well looked after, with some great features, such as a double ended bath, a double shower with different settings (and built-in radio!), and a rather amazing hot tub. Everything was very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. Yvonne even showed us how to use the shower properly while still in her dressing gown! Sorry Yvonne!! Mr K, Longfield, Kent 30 September 2010
Beautiful cottage with everything that you need. Hot tub fantastic! Great location, plenty of places to visit. Can't wait to go back! Mrs M, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire 08 September 2010
Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Mrs. B, Devizes, Wilts 24 June 2010
We would absolutely recommend this holiday, the location and accommodation are perfect for anyone wanting a get away from it all break. The cottage is luxurious with the most amazing facilities, and we could not think of a more perfect evening than enjoying the hot-tub at dusk, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area. Mrs B, Burnley, Lancashire 09 May 2010
Lived up to expectations, ideal location, well equipped, quiet and peaceful with lots to do in the surrounding area for all types. Mrs N, Leeds, West Yorkshire 05 May 2010
This was a fabulous choice for a luxurious weekend break. The cottage was beautiful, the hosts were lovely, and we were lucky with the weather and managed to go on some lovely walks! I would highly recommend it for a relaxed and peaceful break. The accomodation was high spec and very clean and tidy, and the wine and flowers were a lovely touch. The hot tub was just the thing on a cold night with a clear sky to look at the stars! Miss P, NEWPORT PAGNELL, Buckinghamshire 02 March 2010
We don't want to recommend this holiday to others as we won't be able to book it then! It was an amazing cottage and the hosts were lovely. Ms G, ANDOVER, Hampshire 23 February 2010
One word to describe this cottage and the hot tub - excellent. We were extremely impressed from the moment we were handed the keys by Yvonne and Andy, who were the most pleasant and helpful couple you could hope to meet. This cottage is in an excellent location for you to go exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside, but a word of warning - the Welsh Cakes are rather addictive!! Mr S, LEEDS, West Yorkshire 14 February 2010
Having never been to Wales and not knowing much about the area I was a little sceptical about spending the week there, my doubts however were soon forgotten after arrival. We had the best week in this amazing location, and it was everything we could have wanted. The towns and villages are all within a short driving distance, and Cardiff is none too far either so you're never far from food and drinks. The stable itself though is well away from any busy roads so it is quiet, and the hot tub at the back is a must have for any holiday from now on!! We could not have asked for 2 nicer people as our point of contact, the owners were very helpful and friendly, without being intrusive which suited us perfectly. The accommodation was brilliant, very comfortable for 2 people with lots of space, and the TV is great for chilling out with a film at night!
Five star rating, cant wait to go back! Mr B, PAISLEY, Renfrewshire 29 January 2010
This cottage, the host Yvonne and Andy, the location was absolutely perfect, romantic, relaxing. what else is there to say? Mrs B, Darwen, Lancashire 06 January 2010
A wonderful retreat, set in beautiful countryside and equipped to the highest spec. A brilliant romantic getaway. Mr A, ST. ALBANS, Hertfordshire 29 November 2009
This is the most romantic retreat I have ever been to. The hot tub was divine and I would recommend this to anyone, we had a wonderful time and it's the perfect place for some rest and relaxation. C, STOURBRIDGE, 24 November 2009
The hot tub was great!!!

We will recommending the cottage to all our family and friends, it was the perfect holiday destination, i have never had such a realxing week away. They have thought of everything to make it so special. We will be returning in the very near future. Mrs F, KETTERING, Northamptonshire 22 August 2009
It was the perfect get-away. A very romantic and luxurious break. We could easily have stayed another week! Mrs E, PURLEY 11 August 2009
We have had a lovely break at The Old Stable. Excellent accommodation, everything we needed and a place to totally relax! The owners were very welcoming and helpful and we will certainly return. Mrs W, STONE 18 July 2009
We've just returned from a lovely weekend break at the The Old Stable. The accommodation was wonderful as was the hot tub, and we would like to thank the owners for being so welcoming and helpful - the Welsh Cakes were a bonus! The surrounding area was beautiful, with an imposing Raglan Castle nearby, Monmouth, and breathtaking views from Symonds Yat Rock (you can drive to the viewpoint, but we walked up to it, and it was some walk - but worth it). Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time, but we would definitely recommend this cottage, and hope to return sommetime in the near future. Mr B, New Quay , CEREDIGION 05 April 2009
A luxurious hideaway in the countryside, well located for the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons. Mr M, London 09 March 2009
